A little child has just been found inside a hole covered with erosion in one of the streets in Ugbowo area of Benin City. The hole however was suppose to be for drainage.
The atmosphere got tensed at about 4pm today 5th August, when the mother of the said child realize that her child was no where to be found. Soon a search team was organised to look for the missing child.
After a while, the body of the child was noticed in the pool of dirty water(pictured) above, and the mother of the child amidst tears and shouting, pulled out the child who had already drowned from the water.
No one however could tell how long the child was in the water. But the child has been rushed to the hospital for medical attention. We pray he servives.
