Actor turned politician Desmond Elliot, recently visited the surulere constituency 1, to dialogue with the people of the community as regarding the forthcoming elections. Speaking about Desmond Elliot, Actress Bimbo Thomas who accompanied Desmond to the campaign, had this to say about him:

"Desmond Olusola Elliott has been an inspiration to me and to most of us in the industry. He has pulled a lot of us up the ladder and he is still pulling up more. He will carry burdens as if they are his own"
