Christ Embassy Members Were Made To Pay N1,000 Gate Fee, Before Entering The Church On December 31st?

I find this very hard to believe, so I am asking, is this for real?

I just read a report that a lot of Nigerians are very bitter due to the fact that members of Christ Embassy church, were made to pay a gate fee of N1,000, before gaining entrance into the church headquarters at Billings ‎Way in Oregun Area of Lagos, during the December 31st cross over service.

Report also said that members who couldn't afford the gate fee of N1,000, were asked to go somewhere else and worship that night. I also read that this is not the first time this is happening. It happened in 2011 too, and an excuse of using the method to control crowd of worshippers that come to the church on 31st night, was given.

According to findings, the church is about 20,000 seaters. So imagine 20,000 x 1,000, that is 20million in one night. Minus the offerings o.

Hmmm, like I said, I don't believe this really happened. But if you did witness it, you can tell us how true this is.
