50 years old journalist/controversial activist, and Daughter of Former Oyo State Governor Kemi Olunlayo, has been reportedly beaten up mercilessly by her mother, her sister (Oyo state special adviser to the Governor on education) , and her sister's son.
According to a press statement released by Kemi's Spokesperson Zoie Roberts, Kemi was beaten on the ground that she was trying to bring down the Oyo state APC Government.
"Her mother, former Oyo state First Lady Mrs Funlayo Olunloyo was also seen kicking Kemi in the head along with her grandson and daughter Funke.
“Mrs Funlayo Olunloyo was heard cheering them on and was saying ‘Good, she’s dead, let her die’, as Kemi lay motionless with internal head injuries.
“Kemi suffered head injuries, knee bruises, a huge cut on her toe. She is slowly recovering from the Wednesday attack with internal head injuries and thanks to her fans, colleagues and partners for all the kind wishes”.
She also added that Kemi has Kemi has suffered a concussion, temporary hearing loss and several body injuries and the police has not responded due to domestic nature.
