A notorious gang leader of terrorists, was confirmed killed on Friday by the Defence Headquarters. The terrorist who is known as Mallam Husaini, has led many attacks against the military and the police, including the killing of two soldiers along Lokoja Kaduna road in 2013.
The Defence Headquarters on Friday 20th June, released a statement on its blog
" A notorious terrorist who has led serial attacks on security personnel, Mallam Husaini has died
in an encounter between his group and a military convoy along Jos- Bauchi highway "
A Ford bus used for operation by the terrorists, 8 primed improvised Explosive Devices, Rifles, Pistols and close to 70 rounds of ammunitions were recovered by the Military, after the shoot out.
