A 35 years old commercial motorcyclist Ismaila Isa, yesterday Monday 16th June, committed suicide in Ibadan. Eyewitness reports that Ismaila who normally plys Adegbayi/ Alakia / Gate axis, came from Adegbayi / Alaka end of the road yesterday, parked his bike and jumped into a deep pool. Before help was rendered to him, he had already drowned. Alot of motorcyclists / eyewitnesses at the scene were in great shock as non of them knew why Ismaila decided to take his life.
The owner of the motorcycle which Ismaila worked with said Ismaila wasn't owing him any money, and he always paid Ismaila his daily wages according to their agreement. May his soul rest in peace.
